I make black-and-white photographs of public life, mostly in and around Boston.
I 'M drawn to ordinary moments: people waiting for trains, workers taking a break, strangers moving through light and shadow, small rituals on sidewalks, and the quiet evidence of daily life. The work is part street photography, part personal archive, and part AN attempt to pay better attention to the world around me.
These photographs are not meant to explain the city. They are meant to notice it.
